Instructions & Protocol to Make the Best Use of DYPIU Library
- ID Card is compulsory.
- One book will be issued to students for a period of 7 days from the date of issue.
- 5 books will be issued to faculty members for a period of 90 days from the date of issue.
- The last stamped date on the due date slip will be considered as the return/renewal date.
- A late fee of Rs. 5/- per day per book will be charged for late return/renewal.
- Books will be re-issued to students for an additional 7 days if there is no reservation.
- Borrowers are fully accountable for any borrowed material from the library.
- Loss of borrowed books must be reported immediately. A replacement copy of the same book must be provided, and late fees will be based on the due date of the lost book.
- Marking, folding pages, or any unfair practices with borrowed material are strictly prohibited.
- Pin-drop silence and a studious environment must be maintained at all times in the library.
- Group discussions, chatting, or group study is strictly not allowed in the reading hall.
- Mobile phones should be switched off or kept on silent mode upon entering the library.
- Users must ensure that subscribed e-resources are used for personal, educational, and research purposes only. Commercial use is strictly prohibited.
- Access rights to subscribed e-resources/databases are controlled by the library.
- Login IDs and passwords for subscribed e-resources/databases will be shared with students and faculty members from time to time.
